Tioman Salang Indah March 2014

Dear Diary,

I have not told you anything about my trip to Tioman. Too many to tell, let's just see the photos ok.

This chalet cost me RM40 per night. I stayed here alone. Just nice for my budget.

2 single beds, a wall fan. No water heater so I made my own hot shower.

Only one electric point. Good thing I brought a double plug.

Didn't eat outside at all. Cooked meals for all 4 days.

They are everywhere in Tioman.

Salang Indah....the uphill resort that was never completed.

My first day meal, home cooked and brought to Tioman with me.

This would be my ideal island hut...

One male and 3 females.

 My loyal travel companion. Teva sandal. Has been with me for more than 10 years and still going on strong.

Suka Hati Kau Lah Labu Gemuk

Hello Diary,

I just realised that Gummy Bear has deleted me from her friend's list. Do you remember Gummy bear? She is...wait, let me correct that, she was my best friend in Kuala Lumpur. I chilled with her many times. We enjoyed each other's companion. Yes I miss her. I miss having a friendship with her. Was it my fault Diary? I was bold, yes I admit but I never deleted her from my list. When we stopped talking to each other, honestly I hope that would only be temporary. I never really thought that she would have the heart to do that. Wow! 

She must have been very upset with me. I wonder what did I say to make her feel so upset like that? If you have known her, you would not think she would do that. She was just nice you know....adorable and sweet and kind.  Well, sometimes people do change when they have someone in their life to love and to share things. It is true. You know, when you have someone to call your other half, you tend to think that you guys do not need anybody else. Any slightest misunderstandings with friends, you can cut all ties just like that. Like snapping your finger. Let me take all the blame. I started it anyway. So what is left now Diary? We move on, right? I suppose that is the only option available. 

Suka hati kau lah labu gemuk gedempol....asalkan kau bahagia. Muahahahahaha.....

I Live Now

Dear Diary,

I went to sign the agreement of the house today and paid a deposit of 10% out of the selling price. Together with the legal and stamping fees, it amounted to a grand total of $15,216. Ok, so I am $15,216 poorer today. The officer told me that I am entitled to purchase the 2-rooms apartment only once as a single and if I were to sell the house in the future, I will have to pay a levy of $8000 cash. 

The house cost me $142,000 for a 45sqm. I do not have any plans to sell it but we will see how things turn out. It will be ready in October 2018 and that gives me another 3.5 years before I begin paying my mortgage. I am excited to have a place of my own. It is a big accomplishment for me since I came back from Kuala Lumpur. I had nothing to be proud of when I came back but at least now, I have something. It was not easy Diary. I came back empty handed. I had nothing except for experiences and memories. I guess I have left the memories behind and moved on from all the dissapointments and heartbreaks. I do not want to live it all over again. I still do not have everything that I ever wanted, but I know I have achieved things. We never know, believe me, when we have succeeded best. We have to judge our success by what we had to give up in order to get it. 

I came back to Singapore and left Kuala Lumpur with a heavy heart so I left my heart behind. I struggled to live in my own country surrounded by my family until I realised that it is pointless to chase a love that is not worth chasing. It still hurts and I can still feel the pain. I came to learnt with the past, I have nothing to do; nor with the future. I live now.

What I Bought In Vietnam

Dear Diary,

I know I was supposed to tell you about my Vietnam trip. It was 6 months ago and there was just too many to write. I got lazy. These are the pictures of what I bought. There are many more but I managed to capture these few things.The stuffs I bought are mostly for my hiking trips.

This binocular can let me see things as far as 3km away.
