Dear Diary,
For the past few weeks, I have
been thinking of what I should do. It seems to me that the best thing to do for
now is to put the business plan on hold. Yes, it will be temporary until I am
financially sound. Why?
- I am only 30% financially equipped to run the restaurant.
- I need to save for that missing 70%.
- I just spent $15k for my house deposit last week.
- The $15k I spent on the house deposit ate into my savings for the restaurant.
- I need an extra RM10K to set up a company and to apply for a DP10 visa.
- The house mortgage will start in Oct 2018, I need to work to boost my CPF to prepare for it.
- I do not think I want to have any investor anymore so 100% of the capital must come from me.
- My car loan will end in 2018 so it is good if I just wait until then to start the business.
Ok, so that’s it. Those are the
things. This is not about being afraid anymore. It is about being pragmatic and
logical. Am I giving up on it? No! I am waiting for the right moment. I must
have money. Do you understand Diary?
